Who we are
This site and the Goldsmith service are operated by Justin Ben Smith, trading as Smith Block Markets, based in Dubai. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +44 7590 422083, or email hello@goldsmithtrading.com.
What this website collects
This site uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count visits and clicks on its buttons. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. We see totals, such as how many people visited a page and which country they came from, never who you are.
Our hosting provider, Render, and the network in front of it keep standard server logs that may include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are kept by those providers under their own policies and used to serve the site and keep it secure.
What we collect when you contact us
If you message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, we hold that conversation and whatever you choose to tell us in it, such as your name and your Vantage account number. We use it to answer you and to connect Goldsmith to your account. WhatsApp and Instagram are run by Meta, under Meta's own privacy terms.
What we never ask for
We do not ask for your Vantage portal sign-in details, and you should never send them to anyone. We cannot withdraw money from your account and we never hold your funds.
What we do with it
We use your details to set up and support your account, and for nothing else.
We do not sell your information. To connect Goldsmith, we pass your trading account login to the technology provider that places the trades, under a confidentiality agreement. It cannot withdraw money. Otherwise we share your information only where the law requires it.
Vantage holds your account and your money directly. Anything you give Vantage is covered by Vantage's own privacy policy, not ours.
How long we keep it
For as long as you use Goldsmith, and afterwards only where a law or a record-keeping obligation requires it.
Your choices
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Message us on WhatsApp and we will deal with it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
